Project: Small Bathroom Remodel
Location: Lombard, IL

Archway completed a bathroom remodeling project in Lombard, IL in the spring of 2014. The project included a full remodel of a small, 1950’s style bathroom. The homeowners were Mr. and Mrs. Schmutzer, a middle-aged couple looking to breathe new life into their very outdated bathroom.

Scope of Work

The scope of work for this project was as follows:

  • Demo bathroom down to studs and subfloor
  • Install green boards where walls have been demoed
  • Install new tile flooring in main bathroom space
  • Install new tile flooring in shower space
  • Install new tile (all the way to the ceiling) for the perimeter walls of the shower space
  • Install new toilet
  • Install new vanity cabinet, sink and counter top
  • Install new faucet for sink
  • Install new shower head, bar, hose, valve and trim kit for shower/tub area
  • Install new light fixture above vanity mirror
  • Install new exhaust fan/ light and heat combo
  • Install new shower door
  • Install new mirror above vanity cabinets
  • Install all accessories
  • Paint entire bathroom and outside wall where the hallway has been affected

 

The Finished Product

Overall, the clients were very happy with the work we did and we are very proud of the end result! Thanks to the Schmutzers for being such great customers during this remodel.
